Drunk driving collisions can be a little more complex than your typical fender bender. Usually, the Noll Law Office will obtain a copy of the police investigation. This may be relatively quick or in the case of traffic crash reconstruction, it may take up to six months to get the police report. The witnesses need to be identified and their depositions need to be taken. All of this will result in a claim being made with the insurance company of the drunk driver who hit you. If the insurance company does not pay for your medical bills or lost wages and other injuries, suit will need to be filed. The police officers will be subpoenaed to testify on your behalf as will any other witnesses.
