Are Any Springfield, Illinois Criminal Defense Attorneys Open All Day or on the Weekends?

By Dan Noll on December 26th, 2013 in

YES! The Criminal Defense Lawyers and DUI Defense Attorneys at the Noll Law Office are always available. We pride ourselves on client communication and accessibility to our lawyers. If you are needing a lawyer now, call our office NOW at (217) 414-8889. We can often meet with prospective clients the same day. As you will read below, we are available after hours and on the weekends for appointments as well.

We represent clients throughout Central Illinois.

Our Service Area:

  • Springfield, Illinois – Sangamon County
  • Decatur, Illinois – Macon County
  • Lincoln, Illinois – Logan County
  • Taylorville, Illinois – Christian County
  • Hillsboro, Illinois – Montgomery County
  • Jacksonville, Illinois – Morgan County
  • Petersburg, Illinois – Menard County
  • Virginia, Illinois – Cass County
  • Champaign-Urbana, Illinois (Federal Cases Only)
  • Peoria, Illinois (Federal Cases Only)

Why Are You Always Available?

We are available because legal problems don’t always happen between 9-5. If someone is arrested over the weekend, they will not be able to get in front of a judge until Monday. They will be sitting in jail without a bond. If you need Bond Set in Springfield, contact our lawyers now. We are happy to help get those accused of our crimes back home to their family.

In addition, we work late hours and are open on the weekends because do our job correctly we simply cannot get everything done during a normal work week. During the week, we are in and out of court hearings and trials. We are meeting with clients, prosecutors, and witnesses. There is not enough time to sit at our desks and draft pre-trial motions, read discovery (police reports, eye-witness statements, videos, etc), or visit clients at the jail.

Visiting Clients at the Jail

In our 40 plus years of experience representing clients accused of crimes, we have found the best time to visit clients who are incarcerated in the jail is over the weekend. The jail staff is more relaxed because they do not need to worry about getting inmates to court and other defense lawyers are on the golf course. Basically, we have the jail to ourselves. We can meet with clients and focus our energy on their cases.

We have seen attorneys who will only meet with their clients 5 minutes before their court appearances. Their client is confused and upset because their lawyer is not communicating with them. They feel pressured to make decisions because the judge is waiting.

Our Philosophy

We try to treat our clients the way we would like to be treated. We are a small family business. We value our clients. Our goal is to return all phone calls the same day. Our lawyers understand that when a person is charged with a crime, it is a highly stressful situation which can effect the rest of their lives. We take the time to listen to our client’s needs and address them with knowledgeable and honest advice.

If you are currently charged with a crime or being investigated by the authorities, call our Criminal Defense Lawyers today for a Free Initial Consultation at (217) 414-8889.
